Home / Educational Scholarships for Orphans in Africa

Why We Focus on Education

“Literacy arouses hopes, not only in society as a whole but also in the individual who is striving for fulfilment, happiness and personal benefit by learning how to read and write…”
~UNESCO, Institute for Education Hamburg, Germany.

”Education is a social process, education is growth; education is not a preparation for life but its life itself.” John Dewey.

”Literacy is not a luxury; it is a right and a responsibility if our world is to meet the challenges of the 21st century…” ~Bill Clinton.
